It was a maternal solidarity visit as who-is-who in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, on Sunday, converged at the Enugu residence of the Labour Party Governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga, to reaffirm their unflinching loyalty and support.
The delegation led by Hon. Obinna Ijere who is representing Udenu State Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, Barr. Emeka Abba, Pastor Iziga Nwonu, Gen. Chris Eze (RTD), Ambassador Agboeze, Chief Emeka Attama among others told Edeoga that the purpose of the visit was to encourage him not to look back in his efforts to recover his stolen mandate.

They however expressed confident that he will retrieve his God-given mandate through the tribunal in no distant time.
The party stalwarts also told him that they’re not bothered about making any demand as to what they would want him to do for the people of the local government when he assumes office because they are convinced that he will not forsake any part of the state.
Responding, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga appreciated the people of Udenu local government for coming to show their continuous love which they demonstrated on March 18 governorship election for him and their son, Obinna Ijere.
Edeoga asked them to remain steadfast in prayers even as he promised to reciprocate the overwhelming love, support and trust which they have shown him in an unprecedented manner.
