The Enugu state Governorship/House of Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal is currently sitting and reading out the judgment on the petition filed by Labour Party and her governorship candidate against Mr. Peter Mba, PDP and INEC.

The Labour Party Governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections in Enugu state, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga is challenging the INEC’s declaration of Mr. Peter Mba of the Peoples Democratic party as governor of Enugu state.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up not only in the court premises but outside the gate.
