Issuing a statement from Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, Isiguzoro emphasized the constitutional decree of 2024, which designates Rivers State as the rightful source of the President General, warning against any attempts to deviate from this mandate.
“The Secretary General of Ohaneze remains steadfast in upholding constitutional principles. Conversations and consultations are underway across the seven Igbo-speaking states in anticipation of the forthcoming elections. The prospect of a Rivers State leader has ignited fervor and anticipation among Ndigbo,” He said.
“The emergence of a President General from Rivers State in 2025 carries profound significance, poised to challenge misconceptions and herald a cultural resurgence. This historic milestone will redefine societal norms, empowering the Ikwerre, Etche, Ndoni, Opopo, and other Igbo indigenes of Rivers State to embrace their heritage with unwavering pride.”
Drawing parallels to the impactful leadership of the late Ambassador Ralph Uwechue, who rejuvenated Anioma pride, Isiguzoro highlighted the transformative potential ahead, promising unity and progress for all.
