The award was presented at the UNFP Trophies gala held in Paris on Monday night.
The 23-year-old Nnadozie, who plays for Paris FC, has delivered stellar performances throughout the season, contributing significantly to her team’s third-place finish in the regular season and securing a spot in the playoffs.
Expressing her gratitude, Nnadozie said, “I’m incredibly grateful and humbled by this award. Thank you to @tropheesunfp for recognizing my efforts, and to @parisfc_feminines, the president, the entire team staff, the fans, and my wonderful teammates. Your belief in me and my work is a tremendous source of motivation.”
Nnadozie’s outstanding form has been acknowledged before; she was named the best goalkeeper in the D1 Arkema by the league body in April.
Her exceptional skills have also been pivotal for the Super Falcons, particularly in their campaign for the women’s football event at the Paris Olympics.
Nnadozie conceded only one goal in six matches, playing a crucial role in Nigeria’s qualification for the Olympics for the first time in 16 years.
