Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf,
The Executive Secretary of the Kano State Hospitals Management Board (HMB), Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda, has announced the immediate suspension of a doctor from Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital.
The suspension follows complaints from both patients and staff about the doctor’s absence without prior notice to the hospital management.
Reports indicate that despite several attempts to contact the doctor, she falsely claimed to be present at the hospital while actually being absent.
This left a dialysis patient in a critical condition due to lack of care.
