Senator Sir Kelvin Chukwu, representing the great people of Enugu East Senatorial Zone, has urged the federal government to urgently modernize the nation’s power grid and invest in renewable energy sources to attract private sector investment.
Senator Chukwu made this call in Abuja on Wednesday after the meeting of the Senate Committee on Finance and Power.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the meeting, the Labour Party parliamentarian highlighted several critical areas needing urgent attention, including the modernization of the power grid, investment in renewable energy sources, and the implementation of policies to attract private sector investment.
