A 17-year-old student from Enugu State, Joseph Chukwuemeka Madu, has achieved an impressive score of 319 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, Daily Gazette learnt.

The young lad was among those encouraged by Senator Sir Kelvin Chukwu, representing Enugu East senatorial zone, to register for the 2024 JAMB examination.

Madu, an indigene of Neke in Isiuzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, displayed exceptional academic prowess in his JAMB examination, positioning him among the top candidates in the country.

His JAMB result, made available to Daily Gazette, indicates that he scored 59 in English, 91 in Mathematics, 83 in Physics, and 86 in Chemistry, with an aggregate of 319.

Daily Gazette correspondent gathered that Joseph Chukwuemeka Madu, who has passion for Engineering, attended Federal Government College Enugu for his secondary education.
