He explained that on June 4th, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated a new road in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) known as Arterial Road N20, which runs from Katampe to Jahi.

This road connects the Outer Northern Expressway (Murtala Muhammed Expressway) to the Northern Parkway (Ahmadu Bello Way).

During the inauguration, FCT Minister Barrister Nyesom Wike proposed naming the new Arterial Road N20 after Prof. Wole Soyinka, a suggestion that President Tinubu accepted.

“Therefore, it is the Arterial Road N20 that is named after Prof. Soyinka. The Murtala Muhammed Expressway remains unchanged and continues to honor our esteemed former Head of State, General Murtala Ramat Muhammed,” Ibrahim stated.

He urged citizens to disregard any misinformation regarding the renaming of the Murtala Muhammed Expressway, emphasizing that such reports are false and unfounded.
