Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has passed away at the age of 82.
His death was announced by his son, Jide Iwuanyanwu, following a brief illness.
Iwuanyanwu, who succeeded the late Professor George Obiozor in the role, was known for his leadership and contributions to the Igbo community.
