Zacchaeus Michael, the caretaker chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area in Kogi State, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
The incident, confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya, occurred on Friday night along the Kabba-Okene Road in Kabba.

“We received information that the caretaker chairman was abducted along with some of his aides,” Aya stated.
He further mentioned that the state Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, has mobilized officers for a search-and-rescue operation.
Sources revealed that Michael and his aides were taken captive by gunmen on the Kabba-Okene Expressway in Kabba.

Authorities are actively pursuing any leads that could facilitate their safe return.
