Former Deputy Chairman of Nkanu West Local government area of Enugu state, Hon. Chief John Ogbodo has been officially declared the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the upcoming local government council elections in Nkanu West.
The announcement was made at the end of the party’s primary election held on Wednesday.

Ogbodo, a seasoned politician and respected figure within the PDP, secured all delegates votes to clinch the party’s ticket.

In his acceptance speech, Hon. Ogbodo thanked Governor Peter Mbah led state government, PDP delegates and all stakeholders for their support and confidence in his ability to lead the local government.
