President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have expressed their relief following the news that former President Donald Trump is safe after a security incident at his golf course, the White House announced on Sunday.
In a statement, the White House confirmed that both Biden and Harris had been briefed on the situation, which involved gunshots being fired near Trump while he was at the Trump International Golf Course.
“We are relieved to hear that former President Trump is safe following the security scare,” the statement read.
