On Tuesday night, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, engaged in a private meeting with the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Senator Adolphus Wabara.
The BoT had reached out to Wike in August, requesting a meeting to address ongoing issues within the party, particularly those affecting Rivers State.
This request followed a previous meeting with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
