At the directive of President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima departed Abuja on Sunday for the United States to represent Nigeria at the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
President Tinubu tasked Shettima with leading the Nigerian delegation to the high-level global forum, as the President remains focused on addressing critical domestic matters, including the aftermath of the recent flood disaster.
