The Nigerian government has suspended four senior officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) in connection with infractions involving Mr. Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, as well as other misconduct within various correctional facilities.

The suspensions followed the emergence of a viral video on social media that alleged improper conduct by NCoS personnel related to Bobrisky.

In response, Minister of Interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo ordered an investigation and established a panel led by Permanent Secretary Dr. Magdalene Ajani to look into the allegations.
