A Shari’a court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State, issued a ruling on Thursday prohibiting Aminu Adamu from entering his former wife Jamila Sani’s bedroom to see their children.

The decision was made by Judge Malam Anas Khalifa after confirming that Adamu had issued three divorce pronouncements to Sani.

The judge stated, “There is no marriage between you and her because of the divorce pronouncement. You must refrain from meeting with her in private. If you must see your children, see them outside her room.”

Additionally, the court mandated Adamu to fulfill his responsibilities as a father by continuing to provide for his children’s feeding, education, shelter, and healthcare.

Sani had approached the court to confirm the divorce and to seek custody of their children.

In the proceedings, Adamu agreed to provide Sani with a weekly allowance of N15,000 for the children’s food expenses.
