Richard Adamu Tallen, the son of Nigeria’s former Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, has passed away.
Reports from PM News on Monday revealed that Richard, the only son of the former minister, had been admitted to Cedar Crest Hospital in Abuja on Friday evening.
He was placed in the intensive care unit and put on oxygen support due to an undisclosed illness. Despite medical efforts, Richard passed away on Saturday, October 5th.
Richard was an alumnus of St. Joseph’s College, Vom (CSJ), a well-regarded Catholic missionary school in Plateau State.
His death was announced by his Set Coordinator in a post on the Vom Old Boys Association (VOBA) Facebook page.

The statement read: “With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our esteemed member, Mr. Richard Adamu Tallen. He passed away in Abuja after a brief illness, leaving behind his wife and children. Burial arrangements will be communicated by the family in due course. May his soul rest in peace.”
Richard, aged 42, held a degree in Computer Science from a university in the United States. He is survived by his wife and three children.
