The Governor of Ebonyi State has announced a significant rebranding initiative for the Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC) in Abakaliki, highlighting the installation of new digital equipment and structural innovations aimed at enhancing the station’s broadcasting capabilities.
In a statement on his official Facebook handle on Sunday, the governor expressed his satisfaction with the comprehensive overhaul of EBBC, stating, “It gladdens my heart to know that our own Radio and Television Station has been comprehensively overhauled through the introduction of brand-new digital equipment and other structural innovations for proper broadcasting.”
He praised the efforts of the Director General of EBBC, Comrade Tony Nwizi, for his commendable work in leading this transformation.
The governor noted that substantial investments have been made in the broadcasting sector, underlining the state’s commitment to improving media infrastructure.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the improvements translate into high-quality, professional output from the station.
