Nigerian music superstars Davido and Wizkid were both spotted at a London nightclub recently, but the two Afrobeat icons made headlines by avoiding any interaction with each other, reigniting rumors about their longstanding rivalry.

Adesope Olajide, host of the Afrobeat Podcast, shared videos of the encounter on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), captioning the post, “Davido and Wizkid currently partying in the same club in London.”

The footage showed Davido already seated when Wizkid walked in with his entourage, but despite their close proximity, the two stars refrained from greeting or acknowledging one another.

This incident follows recent tension between the two, with Wizkid reportedly throwing subtle jabs at Davido after the latter announced the release of his first single of 2024, celebrating Nigeria’s Independence Day.

Shortly after Davido’s announcement, Wizkid took to social media to boast about his own success, further fueling speculation about their ongoing feud.

In the nightclub, Wizkid passed by Davido’s table without stopping, while Davido enjoyed the night with his 30 Billion Gang crew.

Wizkid was at the club to support his DJ, DJ Tunez, who was performing.

After the encounter, Wizkid seemingly made a veiled reference to the situation on X, writing, “Everybody Dey find Big Wizzy,” which many fans interpreted as a subtle dig at Davido.

This isn’t the first time the two have crossed paths in a club.

Last year, they were spotted partying and even hugging at a Lagos nightclub, which briefly led fans to believe their feud was over.

However, in a recent social media rant, Wizkid claimed that it is Davido who always initiates their reunions, alleging that the ‘OBO’ singer “runs after him like a fanboy” whenever they meet.
