Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has issued a warning against potential election rigging ahead of the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election.
In a post on X on Friday, the former president accused Democrats of “cheating” in the 2020 election and stated that individuals involved in any wrongdoing in the upcoming election would face severe prosecution.

Trump wrote, “CEASE & DESIST: I, together with many Attorneys and Legal Scholars, am watching the Sanctity of the 2024 Presidential Election very closely because I know, better than most, the rampant Cheating and Skullduggery that has taken place by the Democrats in the 2020 Presidential Election. It was a Disgrace to our Nation!”
The former president continued, promising that the 2024 election would be “under the closest professional scrutiny” and warned that, should he win, those who engaged in dishonest practices would face strict legal consequences, including long prison sentences.

He emphasized that this scrutiny would extend to “lawyers, political operatives, donors, illegal voters, and corrupt election officials.”
Trump concluded his statement with a call to protect the integrity of the nation’s election process, vowing, “We cannot let our Country further devolve into a Third World Nation, AND WE WON’T!”
He warned that those found engaging in “unscrupulous behavior” would be pursued and prosecuted with unprecedented severity.
