Venerable David Arinze Ajaefobi, the Archdeacon of Oyi Anglican Church and Vicar of St. James’ Parish in Awkuzu, Anambra State, has been kidnapped by unknown assailants.
The incident occurred at the entrance of the church, where he was taken.
Reports indicate that the church has not yet been able to make contact with the kidnappers.
In response to the situation, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the state Police Public Relations Officer, noted that the police had not received any official report regarding the abduction.
