Manchester United has officially parted ways with manager Erik ten Hag after a disappointing start to the season.
The club announced the decision on Monday, following a fourth defeat in just nine league matches, which has left them languishing in 14th place in the Premier League.
In a statement, Manchester United confirmed, “Erik ten Hag has left his role as the men’s first-team manager.” The club will now seek a new direction as they aim to improve their fortunes on the pitch.
