On the contrary, the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) will proceed with its planned nationwide protests and picketing of the Federal Ministry of Finance if the government fails to fulfill its promise to pay approximately 50% of the five months of withheld salaries by the end of their two-week ultimatum, which started on October 30 and ends on November 13.

NAAT President Comrade Ibeji Nwokoma confirmed that members have received one month’s payment but are still awaiting the remaining funds.
