Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the Nigerian-born UK pastor, has addressed recent reports regarding his potential deportation to Nigeria.

The pastor, who was previously the leader of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPA), which was shut down over allegations of a £1.87 million fraud, has lost his legal battle against deportation.

Despite his claims that the deportation violates his human rights, an immigration tribunal ruled that Adegboyega, aged 44, should be sent back to Nigeria.

The decision followed investigations into financial misconduct within his church.

Adegboyega, who is also the cousin of Star Wars actor John Boyega, took to his Instagram to address the issue.

He reassured his followers, saying, “I’ve heard a lot today, and I’m doing this because our friends, our fans, and people who are worried. I’m right here at home, no cause for alarm. Naturally, I dismiss things that have to do with retrogression.”

Adegboyega further emphasized, “Every Nigerian should be proud of me. I’ve survived all sorts, and the matter they are propagating is the smallest of matters. No panic. I love London city, it is my city, and nobody can do anything.”
