Human rights lawyer Dele Farotimi has been granted bail in the sum of ₦30 million by a Magistrate court in Ekiti State.
Farotimi, who had been held in a correctional facility in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, arrived at the court premises at approximately 9:45 am on Friday.
He was transported to the court in a prison van, accompanied by a police escort, and was seen raising his hands in gratitude to a cheering crowd as he exited the vehicle.
