Hon. Ojezele Osezua Sunday, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Representing the Esan South East state constituency, Osezua described his switch to the APC as a “homecoming” and cited the ongoing crisis within the PDP as the primary reason for his decision.
At the APC party secretariat, the state chairman, Jaret Tenabe, welcomed Osezua, adding that the party expects more defections in the coming months.
Tenabe further emphasized that the APC was not responsible for the troubles in the PDP, which led to the exodus of its members.
