The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) is in deep sorrow after the untimely passing of three pastors on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025.
The deceased pastors have been identified as Evangelist Oladotun Elusanmi, Shepherd Olumuyiwa Michael, and Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Johnson Olajuwon.
Evangelist Elusanmi was serving as the Shepherd of Orisun Ayo Parish, Ilupeju, while Shepherd Michael led the Christ Testimony Parish, Ikorodu.
Meanwhile, the late Olajuwon held the esteemed position of prophet at the Celestial Church of Christ, Saint S.B.J. Oshoffa Cathedral, International Headquarters, Ketu.
Olajuwon’s death was officially confirmed through the church’s website by Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, the Secretary of the Pastor in Council and Head of Media and Publicity for CCC worldwide.
He described Olajuwon as a vibrant leader, noting that the prophet had led the second lesson during the church’s New Year cross-over service, only to pass away suddenly on January 1, 2025.
The Shepherd of the CCC International Headquarters, Ketu, Olatosho Oshoffa, paid a tribute to Olajuwon, praising him as a loyal, dedicated, and truthful servant of God.
Both CCC Christ Testimony Parish, Ikorodu, and the Celestialgeneration Instagram page also shared the news of Michael and Elusanmi’s deaths on the same day.
The entire Celestial Church community is united in grief, mourning the loss of these revered spiritual leaders.
