Daniel Ndukwe, the spokesperson for the Enugu State Police Command, has been promoted from Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to Superintendent of Police (SP).
His new rank was officially conferred upon him by the Commissioner of Police, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, psc(+), alongside prominent businessman and philanthropist, Prince Arthur Eze, during a ceremony in Enugu.
CP Uzuegbu congratulated SP Ndukwe on his well-deserved promotion, emphasizing that it marked a significant milestone in his career and a call for even greater responsibility.
He encouraged the newly promoted officer to continue his service with wisdom, diligence, and dedication.
Prince Arthur Eze also extended his congratulations to SP Ndukwe, urging him to stay focused and committed to his duties as he advances in his career.
SP Ndukwe, in his remarks, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, for recommending him for the promotion, as well as to the Police Service Commission for their approval.
He also thanked CP Uzuegbu and Prince Arthur Eze for taking part in the ceremony and for their words of encouragement.
SP Ndukwe reassured everyone of his continued commitment to performing his duties with professionalism and dedication.
The promotion ceremony was also attended by Chief Engr. Donald Ekete, Managing Director of Eketeson Resources International Limited.
