Yusuf Imam, the Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government Area in Kano State, popularly known as ‘Ogan Boye,’ has announced the appointment of 60 individuals to serve in various key positions within the local government.

A letter of approval, signed by the Local Government Secretary, Ado Muhd Hotoro, confirmed the appointments, which are part of Imam’s broader efforts to promote growth and progress in the area.

The approval letter, dated January 6, 2024, outlined that the appointments were made to enhance the operations and development of the local government, with the aim of improving service delivery to the public.

Among the appointed individuals are 18 Special Reporters, who will oversee critical sectors such as primary healthcare centers, markets, and other departments within the LGA.

Other notable positions include Executive Assistants, Chief Details Affairs I and II, Chief Protocol Officer, Principal Personnel Secretary, and eight Director Generals.

The letter emphasized that these appointments were based on merit, dedication, and a commitment to effective governance.

It also conveyed confidence that the new appointees would contribute to the achievement of the local government’s developmental objectives and priorities.
