Pope Francis has experienced his second fall in two months, resulting in a bruise on his right forearm.
The 88-year-old pontiff, who has faced various health challenges in recent years, fell at his residence at the Santa Marta guesthouse in the Vatican, but fortunately, no fractures were reported.
The Vatican press office confirmed that the Pope suffered a contusion to his forearm and that his arm was immobilized as a precaution.
The statement assured the public that there were no broken bones.
This fall comes just a month after Pope Francis sustained a bruise on his right jaw following a fall from his bed in December.
The Pope, who has been leading the Catholic Church since 2013, has been dealing with several health issues, including knee and hip pain, and frequent episodes of bronchitis.
He has been using a wheelchair since 2022 due to his declining mobility.
