The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced the suspension of access gate fees at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

In a statement released on Saturday, FAAN explained that the suspension is aimed at reducing the traffic burden on airport road users.

The suspension will be in effect from January 24, 2025, to February 7, 2025.

The statement noted, “The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) wishes to inform the public that all access gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport have been suspended to ease traffic congestion for airport road users.”

FAAN also expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by ongoing construction works and reaffirmed its commitment to providing a smoother travel experience for all commuters.
