Popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has vehemently denied accusations from a Kenyan woman claiming he is the father of her child.
The woman, identified as Helen, has been accusing Cubana Chief Priest of abandoning her after their son was born, an allegation the businessman has strongly refuted, stating that the entire saga is an attempt to damage his marriage.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Rubbin Minds on Sunday, Cubana Chief Priest stated that he does not know the woman and insisted that the child in question is not his.
He explained that he has more than enough resources to care for any children he might have, but emphasized that the claims made against him are unfounded.
“Children are gifts from God, no matter how they come, and I am more than capable of taking care of my children,” he said.
“I have a wonderful marriage, and this attack is aimed at destroying it.”
When asked if he would accept the child if a paternity test proved he was the father, he responded affirmatively, saying, “Of course, I would accept, and I would also do a test to clear my name. But you cannot bash me this much and still expect loyalty from me.”
Cubana Chief Priest further stated that the controversy has not affected his marriage, as he and his wife have a strong partnership that goes beyond just being husband and wife, they are also business associates and inseparable in that regard.
He added that the woman has resurfaced multiple times whenever he has been in the public eye for other viral issues, suggesting that her intentions are not to find the father of her child, but rather to pursue a hidden agenda.
