The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2025 Anambra State governorship election will cost N50 million.
In a notice issued by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, APC stated that female aspirants and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) would pay only N10 million for the nomination form, while the N40 million expression of interest form would be given to them at no cost.
Additionally, youth aspirants aged 25 to 40 will pay the full cost for the expression of interest form but will receive a 50 percent discount on the nomination form.
Argungu disclosed that the sale of forms will commence on March 3 and close on March 24, 2025.
He emphasized that the process aligns with the Nigerian Constitution and the Electoral Act, and is part of the party’s schedule of activities ahead of the Anambra governorship election slated for November 8, 2025, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He further stated that interested aspirants can obtain the forms at the Directorate of Organisation, APC National Headquarters, Abuja.
