Labour Party governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections in Enugu State, Hon. Barr. Chijioke Edeoga, on Friday, was at Nkalagu, Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, to condole with Distinguished Senator Obinna Ogba as he laid his mother, Late Mrs. Agashi Chioma Ogba, to rest.
Edeoga, accompanied by some political associates and supporters, expressed his heartfelt sympathies to Senator Ogba and his family, acknowledging the deep pain of losing a beloved mother.
He described the late Mrs. Ogba as a woman of great virtue who contributed immensely to her family and community.
Speaking during the burial, Edeoga praised the senator for his resilience and urged him to take solace in the legacy of kindness, love, and service that his mother left behind.
He also prayed for the repose of her soul and for God to grant the Ogba family the strength to bear the loss.
The burial ceremony was attended by prominent political figures, traditional rulers, and well-wishers from across the country who came to pay their last respects.
