Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has extended an invitation to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, and other legislators for a crucial meeting.
The meeting is set to take place on Monday at the Governor’s Office within the Government House in Port Harcourt.
This development was disclosed in a letter dated March 7, which was obtained by Channels Television on Sunday.
The letter, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tammy Danagogo, signals an effort by the governor to engage with the lawmakers in the aftermath of the recent Supreme Court judgment.
