In a statement released on Saturday in Abuja, the party’s national publicity secretary, Obiora Ifoh, confirmed that both aspirants had successfully undergone screening by a committee led by Hon. George Ozodinobi, deputy minority whip of the House of Representatives.

The screening exercise took place on Friday, after which the committee submitted its report to the party leadership.
