Former Labour Party governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections in Enugu State, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga, has felicitated with Christians across the state and beyond as they celebrate the Easter season, urging them to reflect deeply on the values of love, sacrifice, and unity which the resurrection of Jesus Christ embodies.
In his Easter message made available to DAILY GAZETTE, Edeoga described the season as a moment of renewal and hope, reminding the faithful of the enduring power of sacrifice and the triumph of light over darkness.
“Easter is not just a celebration; it is a call to action — a reminder that through love and sacrifice, we can overcome our common challenges. The resurrection of Christ teaches us that even in our most difficult moments, hope must never be lost,” he stated.
The former House of Representatives member urged Christians to embody the spirit of compassion and unity in their daily lives, emphasizing the need for citizens to remain committed to building a just and equitable society.
