President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Donald Trump on his re-election as the 47th President of the United States, expressing optimism about future cooperation between the two nations.
In a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu emphasized the shared opportunities for collaboration in fostering economic ties, promoting peace, and addressing global challenges affecting citizens in both countries.
Tinubu stated, “We look forward to reinforcing the strong relationship between Nigeria and the United States as we navigate the complex challenges of today’s world. Together, we will foster economic cooperation, promote peace, and confront global issues impacting our people.”
