Danlami Abdullahi Saku, the Chairman of Katcha Local Government Area in Niger State, has tragically passed away in a car accident.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening near Kwakuti village along the Minna-Suleja road while he was en route to Abuja for an event. Two other people in the vehicle with him sustained injuries.
The news of his death was confirmed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Muazu Hamidu Jantabo, who expressed deep sorrow in a statement.
He extended condolences on behalf of the Ministry to Saku’s family, friends, and the people of Katcha.
Jantabo described the death of Hon. Saku as a significant loss, not just to his family, but also to the entire state.
