Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the 2024 CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, securing the prestigious title for the second consecutive year.

The announcement was made at the star-studded award ceremony held on Monday at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco.

At 24 years old, Nnadozie triumphed over strong contenders, including Andile Dlamini, Khadija Er-rmichi, Habiba Sabry, and Fideline Ngoy, with her exceptional performances throughout the year.

Her remarkable displays at both the club and international levels were pivotal in her winning the award.

Playing for Paris FC in France’s Division 1 Féminine, Nnadozie was named Goalkeeper of the Season for the 2023/24 campaign.

She achieved an impressive 33% clean sheet ratio, contributing significantly to Paris FC’s third-place finish in the league.

On the international stage, Nnadozie’s key role in Nigeria’s campaign at the Paris Olympic Games further cemented her status as one of Africa’s most reliable and talented goalkeepers.
