A breakdown of the budget shows that personnel costs will amount to N3.87 billion, with specific allocations of N3.04 billion for salaries and N834.6 million for overhead costs.
Capital expenditure is set at N4.97 billion, bringing the total to N9.24 billion.
Nwali appealed to the council members for approval, assuring them that she would personally oversee the effective execution of the budget.
Reflecting on the achievements of the past year, the chairman noted the successful implementation of various projects, including the installation of transformers, solar street lights, road construction, water supply initiatives, and the distribution of over 80 vehicles to key stakeholders such as vice-chairmen, councilors, and youth groups.
She expressed gratitude to the councilors for their unwavering support and emphasized that the new budget includes provisions for projects in all local communities.
