The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has forecasted thunderstorms and cloudiness across the country from Tuesday to Thursday.
In a weather outlook released on Monday in Abuja, NiMet predicts morning thunderstorms on Tuesday in parts of Borno, Adamawa, Taraba, Yobe, and Gombe states. Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected in Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Kano, Bauchi, Katsina, and Taraba states.

The central regions will experience partly cloudy conditions in the morning, with afternoon and evening thunderstorms expected in the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa, and Kwara states.
In the southern regions, cloudy skies are expected in the morning, with afternoon and evening rains anticipated in Ondo, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, Ekiti, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Lagos states.

On Wednesday, early morning thunderstorms are forecasted for parts of Taraba, Adamawa, and Kebbi states.
Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected in Taraba, Adamawa, Borno, Yobe, Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Gombe, Bauchi, and Kaduna states.
Early morning thunderstorms are also anticipated in Kwara and Kogi states, with thunderstorms expected later in the day in the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, and Nasarawa states.
Morning rains are predicted for Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Bayelsa states, with rains spreading across the southern region by evening.
On Thursday, morning thunderstorms are expected in Taraba state, with thunderstorms later in the day in Kebbi, Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina, and Kano states. The Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, and Nasarawa states will experience morning thunderstorms, with further thunderstorms predicted later in the day.
Cloudy skies are expected over the southern region in the morning, with rain anticipated across the entire region later in the day. NiMet advises the public to take precautions against strong winds that may precede the rains in areas with likely thunderstorms.
