Soyinka compared Trump to a past Nigerian leader, emphasizing the latter’s manipulative tactics.
“Trump studied and understood the American psyche, knowing exactly what to say to gain support and make people believe his countless lies,” Soyinka remarked.
He added, “We’ve had a similar figure in Nigeria, but he’s merely an imitator compared to Trump. The sheer scale of Trump’s deceit is unmatched.”
Soyinka stressed the global danger posed by Trump, stating, “Donald Trump is not just a menace to America; he is a danger to the entire world.”
