President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of seven new executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), according to a statement released on Friday by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

The appointees include Ayo Adewuyi, who returns as Executive Director of News, Bar. Ibrahim Aliyu as Executive Director of Special Duties, and Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha as Executive Director of Administration and Training.

Also named were Mrs. Apinke Effiong, appointed Executive Director of Finance, Mrs. Tari Taylaur as Executive Director of Programme, Mr. Sadique Musa Omeiza, Executive Director of Engineering, and Mrs. Kemi Fashina, Executive Director of Marketing.

The appointments are effective immediately, and President Tinubu has encouraged the new directors to apply their expertise to enhance the performance of NTA, particularly in aligning with international digital standards.
