Air Peace Limited has responded to new allegations against its CEO, Allen Onyema, following an expanded charge by U.S. authorities.
The company reassured customers that the legal process would lead to a fair outcome.
Onyema is accused of obstructing justice by allegedly submitting false documents to hinder a federal investigation.

The U.S. Department of Justice also charged Ejiroghene Eghagha, Air Peace’s Chief of Administration and Finance, for his alleged involvement in the obstruction scheme and previous bank fraud allegations.
In a statement on Sunday, Air Peace management acknowledged the extended charges, clarifying that the allegations stem from financial misconduct accusations that date back several years.
The company stressed that both Onyema and Eghagha are presumed innocent until proven guilty and remain committed to fighting the charges in court.

“Our legal team is fully engaged, and we are confident that justice will prevail,” the statement read.
“Dr. Onyema has consistently cooperated with authorities, and we believe the truth will ultimately exonerate him and his co-defendant.”
Air Peace emphasized that its operations remain unaffected, and the airline continues to serve customers without disruption.
